Our History

Lifelong Learning Community (LLCO) was recently formed by the steering committee formerly the NIU Lifelong Learning Institute. The group has a long history starting back in 2000. The group was originally named Learning In Retirement. They were called together by Arlene Neher and Steven Johnson, then directors of the external programming office in NIU’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
